Jimmy Ricks

Despite a moderately successful single job, Jimmy Ricks is best-known for his use the Ravens, one of the primary R&B ensembles from the first days of rock and roll. They started collectively in 1946, utilizing a tenor/bass comparison that became extremely influential on potential sets of this design. They never really had lots one strike, although that they had eight TOP singles until they split up in the middle-’50s.
