Biography

b. 12 Apr 1936, Leachville, Arkansas, USA. The Payne family members transferred to Gideon, Missouri, in 1944 and Jimmy appreciated nation music and performing in church. He previously a gospel program on the air on Saturdays and was choosing cotton through the week. In 1957, he transferred to St. Louis to are a professional nation singer. He fulfilled Chuck Glaser within the US Military and played electric guitar using the Glaser Brothers music group. Chuck Glaser had taken over his administration when he produced his music group, the Payne Gang. He produced many singles including ‘Ladder TOWARDS THE Sky’, ‘What Will It Consider (TO HELP KEEP A Woman AS IF YOU Pleased)’ and ‘My Many Requested Melody’. He initial appeared in the Grand Ole Opry in 1966. He cut many singles including his very own composition, ‘Girl, Girl’, which acquired national achievement in 1967 when it had been documented by Gary Puckett AS WELL AS THE Union Difference. He continued to get only minor achievement as a single musician – ‘L.A. Angels’, ‘Ramblin’ Guy’ and ‘Turning My Like On’ – but he composed Charley Satisfaction’s US #1 1 country solitary, ‘My Eyes CAN ONLY JUST See SO FAR AS You’.
