Arranger, producer, saving engineer, and multi-instrumentalist (tenor, alto and soprano saxophone, trombone, piano, body organ, electric guitar) Jim Waller was created in Santa Barbara, California, the kid of a specialist cellist, and he spent his youth there, aswell as in NY, Hollywood, Santa Barbara, and Cleveland seeing that his dad spent period with different orchestras, finally moving to Fresno, California, in 1961.
