Jim the Music group was a short-lived but regionally successful fusion rock and roll outfit that blended hippie jam rock and roll with funk, spirit, lite jazz, ’80s pop, and a tripped out love of life. The music group was founded in 1995 beneath the name Nurse Rick by University or college of Illinois graduates Frank Gattone (piano), Dave Werba (electric guitar), and Barrett Schultz (bass).
