Jim Matt

Country vocalist/songwriter Jim Matt was created January 18, 1964 within the remote control city of Englehart, Ontario; the next of 11 kids, as a young child he was inspired with the music of Hank Williams, Hank Snow and Dolly Parton, with age six started singing along with his family members group at regional house celebrations and school occasions. By his mid-teens he was composing songs and executing extensively at region dances, and after graduating senior high school Matt considered playing the neighborhood membership circuit. He afterwards toured within a duo alongside his wife Heather. His big break emerged when two of his compositions had been recorded by vocalist Mike Peters on the 1991 single LP; that same season, Matt also lower his debut one, “Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs and Me.” A demonstration of his music ultimately made its method to manufacturer Pete Anderson, and in 1993 Matt agreed upon to Anderson’s Small Pet label, issuing his debut LP All My Outrageous Oats 2 yrs later.
