Jill Day

b. Yvonne Web page, 5 Dec 1930, Brighton, Sussex, Britain, d. 16 November 1990, Kingston, Surrey, Britain. Originally a music group singer, Day time graduated to be the primary vocalist in the Geraldo orchestra. By 1954 she experienced topped the expenses in the London Palladium and co-starred in the Western End production from the Talk Of THE CITY. Screen appearances adopted in Usually The Bride and everything For Mary. Although she authorized no chart strikes, her name became associated with several ballads including ‘I’m Aged Designed’, ‘Mangoes’, ‘A Vacation Affair’ and ‘I’ve Got My WANT TO Maintain Me Warm’. Diminutive but difficult, she was known on her behalf fierce temper, compounded by her inexorable slip into alcoholism.
