Biography
Phoenix, AZ, punk legends JFA (or Jodie Foster’s Military) was assembled in 1981 simply by Brian Brannon (vocals), Don Redondo (guitars), Mike Cornielius (bass), and drummer Mike Sversvold. Separated because they were in the dying NY and U.K. punk moments as well as the ’80s punk hotbed in LA, JFA pursued their very own make of skatepunk that celebrated the suburban discharge sunlight burnt skaters experienced while carving pools and desert pipes.
