Among the great legendary place rings, the Jeter-Pillars Orchestra was highly regarded (if barely documented) during it is prime years. It had been co-led by altoist Adam Jeter and tenor-saxophonist Hayes Pillars. That they had been people of Alphonso Trent’s big music group when it split up in 1933. The JeterPillars Orchestra used where Trent got ended. They truly became the house music group on the Membership Plantation when it opened up in 1934 and utilized it as their homebase for over ten years.
