Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichael was created on Apr 2, 1979, in Boulder, CO. His family members relocated to LA and Carmichael, primarily a guitarist, started playing music with some junior-high close friends, vocalist/guitarist Adam Levine and bassist Mickey Madden, consuming organizations like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.
