Vocalist Dawn Zee and songwriter Neil Reid co-founded Shirt Road in 1997, carrying out a period when Reid had recorded for Robs Information as a single musician. Rounding out the group are Stephen Chesney, who’s the band’s blend expert and engineer, and Matt Steele, who takes on keyboard. Junior Kids Own released No one But My Lord, the group’s 1st record, and it strike the airwaves in 1998. The label Glasgow Underground quickly signed the music group. Reid and Chesney previously worked together within the Delta Information documenting Ruffcut EP1. Zee’s encounter is based on the types of reggae and spirit.
