English singer/songwriter Jerry Williams emerged in 2014 having a self-released EP of sweetly sung, tuneful folk-pop entitled A Hairdressers Called Sids. The Portsmouth indigenous who cites Kate Nash, Sluggish Golf club, and Jamie T among her affects, introduced a lively style which combined laid-back acoustic songwriting with smart, narrative wordplay. 2015’s Chilly Beer EP discovered Williams starting to function toward the larger pop-oriented production design she would make use of on her behalf breezy 2016 launch Let’s Just Neglect It.
