Muddy Waters’ music group boasted a significant work of harmonica wizards. Jerry Portnoy was among the last, taking part 1974 and showing up on many of the legend’s latter-day Blue Sky LPs. In 1990, Waters’ whole band quit, many of them going out independently as The Legendary Blues Music group. In 1991, Portnoy and his personal combo, The Streamliners, slice their debut disk, Poison Kisses, for Contemporary Blues Recordings.
