An Ohio singer/dancer, Jermaine Stewart was on Soul Teach as a teenager through the years it had been in Chicago. He afterwards did history vocals for Shalamar, Millie Jackson, Tavares, the Temptations, and Boy George before obtaining his own cope with Arista within the mid-’80s. He previously three TOP R&B strikes with Arista from 1984-1988, but his biggest strike, “We Need not Take Our Clothing Off,” was an R&B dud despite rendering it to amount five over the pop graphs. He passed away in 1997.
