Jeremy Messersmith can be an indie pop vocalist/songwriter located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Delivered in SC and elevated in Washington, Messersmith relocated to Minneapolis to wait college, and he began documenting his quiet, frequently melancholic tracks in his cellar studio. His initial record, 2006’s self-released The Alcatraz Child, began sort of pop trilogy of albums that he’d develop over the next four years. The record was well received regionally and drew the interest of Twin Metropolitan areas regional hero Dan Wilson (Trip Shakespeare, Semisonic), who finished up creating Messersmith’s follow-up, 2008’s The Sterling silver City. The 3rd and last record of his trilogy, The Hesitant Graveyard, premiered this year 2010 and his popularity for elegant, literate songcraft begun to build nationally when NPR called it among the TOP albums of 2010 and it received features in Paste mag and THE BRAND NEW York Times, amongst others. He implemented up the achievement with another one this year 2010, but produced a dramatic still left submit 2012 using the release of the six-song record of ambient, extremely textured instrumental tracks known as Paper Moon. That same season he continuing to run after his quirky D.We.Con. tendencies by performing a tour of potluck-dinner home concerts. In 2013, he agreed upon a cope with New York-based label Glassnote Information and released his 5th album, Center Murmurs, in early 2014.
