Jennifer Thomas is a classically trained pianist, using the violin while a secondary device, who appeared while soloist in concertos by Prokofiev and MacDowell. She performed with orchestras and ensembles in Washington, Oregon, and Utah. In 2004, Thomas started composing music in a method combining passionate piano melodies — both unique and borrowed through the classics — and sweeping instrumentals, occasionally with the noises of globe music for more color. The 1st recording of her music, Crucial of Sea, premiered in 2007, and led Thomas into some film and industrial work. 2012’s Lighting may be the third recording of her unique compositions.
