Jennie Arnau

Jennie Arnau’s bold, bluesy tone of voice and artful mixture of Southern rock and roll, folk, pop, and nation make her music appear somehow both refreshingly unique and familiar at exactly the same time, a difficult mixture that is clearly a whole lot simpler to discuss than to really achieve. Arnau was raised in Greenville, SC, within the foothills from the Appalachians and inherited her appreciate of music from her dad, a textile employee and keyboard participant. She transferred to NEW YORK in the middle-’90s and is a regular within the music picture there since, liberating several self-employed albums, including Some CONSTANT Tide (2001), Little Pieces at the same time (2002), Superman Won’t Consider the decision (2003), as well as the amazing, Trina Shoemaker-produced Mt. Pleasant (2007).
