After many years fronting the acoustic duo referred to as Tattle Story, vocalist Jen Real wood parted ways through the band and her hometown of Seattle in 1996 for Santa Cruz, California. During her yearlong tenure, she documented several heartfelt pop tracks that only contains her and her classical guitar. Released on her behalf personal label, Radar Light, all 11 paths would constitute the FORGET ABOUT Wading recording that debuted on cassette in 1997. Following a documenting of her second recording, Getting At night Static, that same yr with that puppy. violinist Petra Haden, Real wood moved back again to Seattle and noticed her function released by W.We.N. Information in 1998. Carrying out a divide EP on Tree Information with Joan of Arc frontman Tim Kinsella, Wood’s first public album, FORGET ABOUT Wading, was reissued in-may of 1998.
