Texan Jeff McIlwain makes ambient/experimental techno that harks back again to the period of basic early-’90s English techno (itself inspired by American resources in Detroit). Highly melodic though generally highly abrasive aswell, his self-titled debut recording premiered in 1999 for the Isophlux label. He taken care of a steady launch plan through 2003, having a full-length released every year — furthermore to a variety of singles and EPs. Also carrying out beneath the name Lusine, in 2004 McIlwain authorized to Ghostly for some produces including that year’s Serial Hodgepodge, 2007’s Podgelism, 2009’s A PARTICULAR Range, and 2013’s Waiting around Room.
