Singing inside a falsetto that frequently garnered critiques mistaking him for a woman, Jeff Hanson fronted indie rock-band M.We.J. prior to starting a single career. Delivered in Milwaukee, WI, Hanson started his musical schooling at age group four with electric guitar lessons. He shaped M.We.J. when he was just 13, and after seven years the music group released a 7″, an EP, along with a full-length on Caulfield Information. After going single, he delivered a demonstration to Kill Rock and roll Stars. They agreed upon him in line with the demonstration alone, a uncommon exemption for the label. Hanson documented Boy in Lincoln, NE, with AJ and Mike Mogis (the Faint, Shiny Eye) and it had been released in Feb 2003. After launching Jeff Hanson in 2005, a self-titled record (actually), he came back in August of 2008 along with his third chamber-pop record for Wipe out Rock Superstars, Madam Owl.
