Jed Davis

Long Island-based indie rock singer/songwriter Jed Davis started his career with 1994’s 33-song demo tape Jed Offers Too Much LEISURE TIME in His Hands. After earning a local pursuing from his innovative, extensive displays at Albany’s NATURE Cafe, Davis began the Hanslick Rebellion in 1995; the group released a live record, The Rebellion IS HERE NOW, in 1996. During his amount of time in the Rebellion, Davis gathered over three albums’ worthy of of solo materials, a lot of which he reworked on WE ARE ALL Going to Prison and Jed Davis Wastes 8 Many years of His Lifestyle for Your Hearing Pleasure along with his previous bandmate Sean Gould. After shifting to Long Isle, Davis and Gould shaped the music group Collider; J-Bird, Davis’ label, released the tribute recording Everybody Really wants to END UP LIKE Jed, which presented addresses of his tunes by Daniel Jonston, Ruler Missile III, Brian Dewan, and Wesley Willis, in middle-2000.
