Jeanie Stahl

Marblehead, Massachusetts-based songstress Jeanie Stahl was over the crest of the promising solo profession, in 1983, whenever a tragic blowing wind surfing incident prevented her from executing for just two years. Although she acquired simply released her debut single record, I’m Simply Fooling Myself, Stahl was still left curing her wounds because the record went generally un-promoted. While Stahl eventually resumed her profession, a lot of the momentum was dropped. Stahl first seduced attention within a duo that she distributed, in the past due-1970s and early-80s, with multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and manufacturer Mason Daring. THE FIRST Years, released in 1992, examples tracks off their two albums and film soundtracks. Furthermore to performing often at New Britain folk music night clubs and coffeehouses, the duo regularly joined with Costs Staines, Guy Truck Duser and Billy Novick within the folk super-group, The Passim All-Stars. Using the enhance demand for Daring’s period as a manufacturer and soundtrack composer, Stahl begun to perform being a soloist within the early-1980s. Although she’s transformed the music of such songwriters as Gordon Lightfoot, Robin Batteau and Randy Newman into heartfelt encounters, Stahl continues to be as effective performing jazz standards in the 1930s and ’40s.
