Jean Glover was named Jean Ray when she teamed up with her husband to be, Jim Glover, being a folk duo in the 1960s Greenwich Town folk scene. She’d be the feminine voice within their sub-Ian & Sylvia-style folk and folk-rock albums. She also published a few tunes that appeared on the second and third LPs. “One Sure Thing,” which she co-wrote with Harvey Brooks, was the very best original track Jim & Jean do and will be covered later on in the 1960s on Fairport Convention’s 1st album.
