Area of the Spirit Fire steady of retro-leaning deep funk performers, JD & the Evil’s Dynamite Music group specialize in large psychedelic funk that evokes the experimentalism from the past due ’60s and early ’70s (but wasn’t actually stated in that point period, as Spirit Fire statements). Following a non-LP solitary “Haaa-Sheesh,” their debut full-length, Explodes Over the Nation, premiered in 2001.
