Electric powered blues guitarist Jay Gordon documented some albums for Blue Ace that motivated comparisons to such renowned guitarists as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. You start with Blues Infested (1994), Gordon gained much praise in the blues community. Each successive record became increasingly effective — Broadcasting the Blues Live (1996), Electric powered Redemption (1998), etc — as well as the guitarist quickly found himself becoming compared to a few of the most famous guitarists to ever play electrical blues. In 2000, Gordon collaborated with Phillip Walker within the Jaywalkin recording for Blue Ace, another achievement for the celebrated guitarist. Furthermore, furthermore to his acoustic guitar playing, Gordon also generates and sings on a lot of his personal recordings.
