Javier Limón

Composer, maker, and performer Javier Limón comes from Madrid and spent some time working with a number of the biggest celebrities in flamenco music. He made an appearance alongside Niño Josele within the 2002 compilation Flamenco: A Windham Hill Acoustic guitar Collection, but he’s most often from the passionate vocalist Diego “Dieguito” un Cigala. His creation focus on the recording Dieguito documented with Cuban jazz pianist Bebo Valdés, Lágrimas Negras, gained Limon the Maker of the entire year award in the 2004 Latin Grammys. In 2006 he released the recording Limón by himself label, Casa Limón. The recording featured Limon dealing with Paco de Lucía, Andrés Calamaro, Valdés, Luz Casal, and many more, and continued to become nominated for Greatest Flamenco Album in the 2006 Latin Grammys.
