Texas-born singer/songwriter Jason Sellers was raised traveling along with his family members ‘s gospel group and adoring nation music. After he transferred to Nashville at age 18, he started his professional music profession because the bassist in Vince Gill’s touring music group. Gigs with Billy Joe Royal and Ricky Skagg’s touring rings followed, and Retailers built a popularity being a talented vocalist and musician. Without on the highway, Sellers centered on his songwriting, offering tunes for performers like Pam Tillis, Lee Ann Womack, Jessica Andrews, Lonestar and Wade Hayes. His debut record, 1997’s I’m Your Guy, blended Retailers’ gospel and nation roots and highlighted support vocals from Gill. 2 yrs afterwards, A Matter of your time continued Retailers’ soulful nation direction, and highlighted cameos from Tillis, Womack, Alison Krauss among others.
