Jason Crest were among the many, many Uk groupings who surely got to record several psychedelic rock monitors in the later ’60s with no much product sales or renown showing for this. In large component because many of their recordings show up on many collector-oriented reissue compilations, the music group provides garnered a humble cult reputation. Without nearly nearly as good or particular as top-flight United kingdom psych rings like Procol Harum, whom they sometimes resembled, these were among the better serves one of the little-known U.K. psych groupings who recorded several rare produces. In Jason Crest’s case, we were holding limited by five non-hit singles, released on Philips in 1968 and 1969. (Incidentally, there is no one called Jason Crest within the group.) In addition they do a pop melody, “Waterloo Street,” that produced number 1 in France when French vocalist Joe Dassin protected it beneath the name “Au Champs Elysees,” even though music group themselves disliked the music. Jason Crest split up around the finish from the 1960s, soon after their agreement with Philips expired. A lot of their materials has shown through to reissues, embellished by many unissued acetates.
