Janne Schra

Dutch designer Janne Schra is soulful vocalist whose eclectic pop details upon jazz, nation, and R&B affects. Created in Laren, holland in 1981, Schra 1st found the public’s interest as an associate from the jazz-pop ensemble Space Eleven, with whom she documented two highly effective albums: 2006’s Six White colored Russians & a Red Pussycat and 2008’s Mmm…Gumbo? After Space Eleven disbanded in ’09 2009, Schra embarked on the solo profession. In 2011, she released her debut single work, India Lima Oscar Victor Echo You, beneath the pseudonym Schradinova. Also for this period, Schra made an appearance on collaborations with such performers as Kraak & Smaak, Dayna Kurtz, Benjamin Herman, and many more. In 2013, she came back with her first genuine self-titled solo recording, the eponymously entitled Janna Schra, including the music “Eyes for the Reward,” a duet with guitarist M. Ward. The next yr, she collaborated just as before, this time around with guitarist Robin Nolan and his trio on the gypsy jazz-influenced recording. Schra’s fifth studio room recording, the Torre Florim-produced PONZO, was arranged for launch in 2015.
