Given birth to and raised in Bloomington, IN, Janiece Jaffe can be an obscure but talented jazz vocalist with a delicate, sweetly vulnerable strategy. Jaffe is definately not a belter or a screamer; her interpretations of requirements tend to prefer softness, restraint, and mild introspection. The Midwesterner was 19 when she began performing jazz, but she didn’t go after a profession in music immediately. At 19, she experienced that she still experienced some growing to accomplish, so she place her career like a vocalist on keep and spent another 15 years employed in kid care. From then on, Jaffe finally documented her first recording, 1995’s Keep carefully the Flame Alive. The next year, she documented her sophomore work, IT REQUIRES Two, which arrived on Catalyst in 2000.
