After six years using the Nelons, a Southern gospel group, she sang using the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries before pursuing a solo career being a contemporary Southern gospel singer. Debuting in 1988 using a self-titled work on the term label, her following recordings included 1992’s Vocabulary of the Center, 1997’s THE NICE Street and 1998’s Lovely Life.
