Janet Holmes

Belfast singer Janet Holmes began executing as an adolescent in the 1980s, when she sang with SOS, which recorded an individual. In the first ’90s she documented an EP within the acoustic duo Bare Bone fragments, and in the past due ’90s she sang with Bird-Dog, which blended bluegrass, traditional Irish music, and golf swing jazz, placing out the record Traditional Root base. Her first single album, 2004’s THE STREET to the Western world, took a vocalist/songwriter rock strategy, often however, not generally leaning toward folk-rock agreements. However, it had been almost wholly specialized in covers of various other songwriters, including Bert Jansch, Lyle Lovett, Terry Woods, Paul Carrack, Isaac Guillory, and her periodic guitarist Colin Harper.
