Jamie Oldaker

Tulsa, OK, local Jamie Oldaker was created on Sept 5, 1951. He started playing drums at age nine after hearing a documenting by jazz great Gene Krupa. By enough time he is at senior high school, Oldaker was gigging frequently in the Tulsa region, and in 1971 he became a member of Bob Seger’s music group, dealing with Seger through 1973. In 1974 he became a member of Eric Clapton’s music group through the 461 Sea Boulevard periods and continued to be through 1980, with another stint from 1983 to 1986. Oldaker in addition has caused the Bellamy Brothers, Asleep on the Steering wheel, Peter Frampton, Stephen Stills, Leon Russell, Ace Frehley, Freddie Ruler, the Bee Gees, and many more as both a program and touring drummer. He was a founding person in the Tractors, who strike platinum from the gate using their self-titled debut record on Arista Information in 1994. On the way Oldaker learned all about all areas of the music business, employed in musician management, music posting, so that as a manufacturer, piecing together an all-star record, Mad Canines & Okies, focused around songs compiled by Oklahoma natives and offering shows by Vince Gill, Eric Clapton, Taj Mahal, J.J. Cale, Peter Frampton, Tony Joe Light, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Bramlett, yet others. Mad Canines & Okies premiered on Oldaker’s very own Mint Blue Isle label, together with Concord Information, in 2005.
