Irish singer/songwriter Adam Vincent McMorrow began his musical life just following he was very well into his young adults. In the beginning a drummer, he was attracted to the harsher noises of In the Drive-In, Refused, and Glassjaw. He mellowed some while at university, where he found out the greater acoustic-oriented noises of Sufjan Stevens and Music group of Horses. He found a acoustic guitar at 19 after hearing Donny Hathaway’s “I REALLY LIKE You A LOT MORE THAN YOU MAY Ever Understand,” and started composing tunes and digging in to the music from the ’70s vocalist/songwriter era, especially from female performers due to the pitch of his personal voice. Eventually creating a composing and performance design that appropriate him, McMorrow started playing displays in regional pubs, where he was received warmly.
