The longtime backing unit behind Luther Allison, the James Solberg Music group made their headlining debut in 1995 with NOTE THAT My Grave Is Kept Clean; Among These Days adopted a year later on, and in 1997 the group received the W.C. Handy Honor for Blues Music group of the entire year. L.A. Blues, a tribute to Allison documented within the wake from the legendary bluesman’s loss of life, adopted in 1998.
