This Wayne Robinson was a violinist from your ’20s who played in a method that, just like a silver bullet fired in the Wolfman, stops dead any notion the blues and oldtime music had been two different species. He’s often puzzled with Wayne “The Bat” Robinson, a blues multi-instrumentalist who documented on piano, acoustic guitar and harmonica, actually humming, but by no means performed the violin. The Robinson who do fiddle could be heard burning by bluesman Tommie Bradley on recordings.
