James Lee Stanley

Adam Lee Stanley became recognized to Monkees supporters within the mid-’90s once the Two Guy Band album premiered, a task involving him and ex-Monkee Peter Tork. Blessed in Philadelphia on Apr 30, 1946, Stanley initial met Tork in a Virginia membership in 1963 and transferred to NEW YORK four years afterwards, becoming mixed up in city’s folk picture. He spent amount of time in the Air Drive during the past due ’60s and early ’70s, and examined music at Cal State-Northridge after his release. Upon graduation, Stanley started working being a songwriter for manufacturer Bone fragments Howe, a romantic relationship which led Stanley to some recording contract using the Wooden Nickel department of RCA. He released three albums for RCA through the ’70s: a self-titled debut, Adam Lee Stanley As well, and Three’s a Attraction. He also documented for MCA, Takoma, and Regency before developing his very own Beachwood label for Live at McCabe’s in the first ’80s. He regularly released albums through the 1980s and ’90s, and after Tork’s Stranger Stuff Have Happened made an appearance on Beachwood, the duo started touring jointly. Two Guy Music group, released in 1995, was in fact recorded reside in the studio.
