James Lapine

b. 10 January 1949, Mansfield, Ohio, USA. After schooling as a visual designer, Lapine proved helpful in NY in a variety of capacities with off-Broadway displays. This was through the past due 70s and in 1981 he collaborated, as librettist, with composer-lyricist William Finn on the one-act musical, March FROM THE Falsettoes.
