James Hill

A west coastline trombonist, arranger, and composer, Adam Hill appears on recordings from the first ’50s. He was among the many Los Angeles studio room cats who performed in the grand music group referred to as Les Dark brown and His Music group of Renown, showing up on many recordings that are believed traditional lineups for Dark brown. He has alongside a number of becoming more popular west coastline players on these schedules, including guitarist Howard Roberts and keyboardist Dick Hyman. Hill also blew for the Latin music group of Pérez Prado and was honored to seem on an record title which features among the world’s most severe puns, Eartha Quake! with the grounded vocalist Eartha Kitt. As an arranger and composer, Hill developed several numbers which were documented by other rings, such as for example “J. Strolling” and “Apple Valley,” trim by Gene Krupa and Don Lamond respectively. The Dark brown band also documented a edition of “Apple Valley” for the Live from Jantzen Seaside set.
