James Hersey

A singer/songwriter based away of Vienna, Austria, Wayne Hersey delivers hook-driven indie pop confections with electro-pop ambitions. Hersey spent his formative years honing his musical abilities on cello and drums, ultimately shifting to guitar. An associate of his school’s choir, aswell as different punk rings, Hersey discovered himself drawn to a bevy of musical styles, from IDM to hip-hop. Sketching inspiration from performers like Phoenix, Foster individuals, Coldplay, and John Mayer, he released his eponymous debut EP, including the solitary “Claims,” this year 2010. Another EP, Twelve, found its way to 2012, and quickly thereafter he inked a cope with Glassnote Information. His first one for the label, “Miss You,” fell in 2016.
