James & Evander

Oakland, California-based electro-pop duo Adam & Evander build sprawling soundscapes from chillwave to dancefloor fare. Adam Myatt and Glenn Jackson fulfilled in art college and started playing jointly in 2007, hooking up over a distributed like of synthesizers and audio experimentation. They released two EPs beneath the Adam & Evander moniker in ’09 2009, June’s soft Awkward Turtle, implemented that October with the even more kinetic THIS IS NOT the start of Anything. The next fall, Adam & Evander demonstrated an icier aspect with the Sunshine & Circuitry EP, and advanced once again in 2011 using their initial release offering vocals, the spacy Constellating EP, which resulted in their signing using the Velvet Blue Music label. Their debut for Velvet Blue Music, the one Let’s Go, found its way to March 2012, implemented two months afterwards by their initial full-length documenting, Bummer Pop.
