Biography
Blessed in Minden, LA, on August 21, 1939, influential guitarist Adam Burton got his begin in the 1950s being a back-up musician on the air display Louisiana Hayride, where he met Dale Hawkins. Hawkins’ 1957 strike, “Suzie Q,” was the initial within a string of successes to feature the youthful Burton. A six-year stint (1958-1964) documenting and touring in Ricky Nelson’s music group followed, subsequently getting him several cameo parts on Ozzie & Harriet.
