Morten Remmer and Thomas Knak from Wayne Bong are sound-sample experimentalists comparable to Matthew Herbert’s Doctor Rockit task, in a position to marry dubby midtempo grooves from what is usually a literally kitchen-sink design of creation. The Danish duo started producing in the first ’90s within a tangled collective composed of such single and group tasks as Long term 3, HOW DO YOU, Dub Tractor, Opiate and Aircraft (a few of including Remmer’s sibling Anders as well as the key pad skills of Jesper Skaaning). Wayne Bong registered to Britain’s 2 Kool Recordings and released several 1995-96 EPs, including “General Weirdness” and “Mr. Kiss Kiss Bong Bong.” While Long term 3 released its debut recording in 1995, JB adopted one year later on with C’Ést Trés Bong. The duo also have appeared on Apr Information’ compilation series Boredom Is usually Deep and Mystical, and remixed countrymen Deepfried Toguma.
