Drummer and bandleader Jaimeo Dark brown is a forward-thinking musician using a genre-crossing cosmetic that combines jazz, blues, hip-hop, African-American spirituals, and East Indian customs. The boy of jazz musician parents, Dark brown grew up hearing several designs from jazz to hip-hop. Nevertheless, it wasn’t until his junior season of senior high school that he began playing and learning drums. Dark brown excelled quickly, ultimately searching for the jazz plan at William Paterson College or university, where, for his mature thesis, he looked into the influence from the dark cathedral on jazz. Also during his period at William Paterson, Dark brown researched the tabla and started sketching parallels between African-American spirituals and East Indian music. After graduating in 2001, he discovered utilize a variety of performers, including stints with Bobby Hutcherson, Greg Tardy, Kenny Garrett, Wynton Marsalis, Q-Tip, as well as the Mingus Big Music group.
