Jaime Torres

Biography

Gifted charango performer from Argentina, Jaime Torres discovered how to enjoy this traditional instrument, in line with the Spanish vihuela, at a age, while acquiring lessons from Bolivian musician Mauro Nuñez. The musician first record, known as Virtuosismo En Charango, premiered in 1964, accompanied by 1965’s Charango and 1967’s Aplausos Em fun??o de Un Charango. That same calendar year Jaime Torres began touring European countries for the very first time, shifting towards the U.S. in 1970 to execute in NY, Washington, and LA. In 1974 the instrumentalist, together with his music group, participated within the starting present for the world-wide soccer tournament in Germany. A calendar year afterwards, Jaime Torres arranged an area instrumentalists encounter, duplicating that same knowledge with kids in 1980. In 1988 the musician constructed the music for the Oscar nominated film La Deuda Interna.
