Biography
Led by renowned bassist Jah Wobble, Invaders from the Heart focus on an experimental ethnic fusion of designs. After leaving General public Picture Ltd. in the first ’80s, Wobble instantly began issuing single albums (The Story Lives On, etc.), before releasing albums beneath the Invaders moniker (that are essentially Wobble single albums with unique guests). Many albums have already been acknowledged to Invaders from the Center over time, the first getting Without Judgement, accompanied by Increasing Above Bedlam and SUNLIGHT Will Rise, the last mentioned which included performances by such performers as Baaba Maal, Dolores O’Riordan, Natasha Atlas, Gavin Fri, Najma Akhtar, and Chaka Demus. Wobble resurrected Invaders from the Center for 2016’s ANYTHING IS NOT ANY Thing, with particular guests Tony Allen and Nik Turner.
