The first working unit of Jade was formed in Winnipeg, Canada, in 1982. The initial line-up contains Roxy Lyons (vocals), Pat Belrose (acoustic guitar), Terry Rudd (bass) and Dave Samson (drums). The music group initially performed on the neighborhood golf club circuit in the lack of a genuine rock and roll scene.
