Jact

Named for Uk slang indicating “all set, ” Jact includes vocalist/guitarist Andy Frank, guitarist Ted Hutt, bassist Jeff Peters and drummer C.J.Eriksson. The group created when Frank and Hutt fulfilled in London following the breakups of Frank’s earlier group Pusherman and Hutt’s music group Reacharound. Linking musically and individually, the pair came back to Hutt’s fresh homebase of L.A. to keep writing songs collectively. Hutt’s previous bandmate Peters became a member of them immediately after, and with the help of Vancouver indigenous Eriksson, the music group was total. Their self-titled debut recording found its way to 1999 on Stress Records.
