Jack Keller

Although composer Jack port Keller authored some young idol pop hits, he’s most widely known for writing a few of the most memorable and long lasting theme tunes of television’s fantastic era, especially the theme for Bewitched. The child of the musician, Keller was created in Brooklyn, NY, in 1937. Upon becoming a member of the personnel of Don Kirschner’s famed Brill Building posting organization Aldon Music, he combined with lyricist Howard Greenfield, and collectively they authored a set of 1960 number 1 strikes for Connie Francis: “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool” and “My Center Has a Brain of ITS.” Keller and Greenfield also collaborated on Jimmy Clanton’s “Venus in Blue Denim jeans,” the Chordettes’ “Simply Between Me and you,” and Bobby Vee’s “Set you back Him.” Following the tv production organization Screen Gems obtained Aldon, Keller relocated to Hollywood in 1966, and as well as Greenfield published the styles to series including Bewitched, Hazel, and Gidget.
