Biography

Among the first turntablists, J-Rocc founded the Defeat Junkies in 1992 with Melo-D and Rhettmatic, but did as much by himself such as a group environment. Delivered Jason Jackson, he started DJing within the mid-’80s using a California group called PSK. Immediately after developing, the Defeat Junkies became a seminal power within the rise of instrumental hip-hop, including primary member Babu plus potential superstars Shortkut and D-Styles. The group received federation championships in 1997 and 1998, and they collectively retired from competition. Defeat Junkies mixes and studio room material continuing to put out. J-Rocc’s 1st widely issued blend recording, Walkman Rotation, made an appearance in 1998 on Conception, and he also caused Babu around the turntablist compilation Soundbombing, Vol. 2, plus because the Bumrush Brothers. After touring because the DJ for Madlib’s concert events, J-Rocc released his 1st recording of productions, Some Chilly Rock and roll Stuf, in 2011 around the Stones Toss label.
