Juana Melts away (MC JB), Juanita Lee (Crazy J), Fatima Shaheed (OG Rocker), Anna Money (Female Anna), and Dania Birks (Baby-D) formed J.J. Trend — the group’s name an acronym manufactured from the first notice from each member’s initial name — in Rialto, California, slightly below 60 mls east of LA. In 1987, 2 yrs following the quintet emerged jointly, they debuted with an Arabian Prince-produced 12″ one, “Anotha Ho”/”Supersonic,” in the Fantasy Group label.
